Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how CSVORTEX.COM ("we", "us", "our") handles and protects the information you may provide when you visit https://csvortex.com (the "Site") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. Please read it carefully so you understand how we use your data when you interact with the Site. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you should not use the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time — your continued use of the Site after we make changes constitutes acceptance of those changes, so please check this page periodically. The "last modified" date will be updated at the top of the policy when changes are made.
1. Information We Collect
There are two types of information we may collect: personally identifiable information ("PII") and non-personally identifiable information ("non-PII"). PII is information that can be used on its own or together with other information to identify, contact or locate a single person. Non-PII is information that cannot identify an individual on its own and is used in aggregate to provide general information about the users of the Site.
PII. When you engage in certain activities on the Service — for example, when you register — you may be asked to provide information about yourself that we will collect and store. PII may include your full name, address, telephone number, email address, your Steam® account ID or profile link, and similar information that you provide when registering for the Services. We may also implement a device-fingerprinting system that creates a unique hash for each user (based on predetermined criteria); the hash alone is stored and is not shared with third parties.
Non-PII. Non-PII is information that identifies your device and its navigation patterns through the Service but not a specific user. We may automatically collect non-PII when you visit the Site through a variety of tools, including cookies (small text files stored on your computer for record-keeping purposes) and other analytic or collection technologies. This type of information may include browser type, domain name and IP address.
2. How We Use and Share Information
a. Use. We use the information we collect to (a) provide, maintain and protect the Services; (b) notify you of promotions, new services and special offers (for example, by email); (c) tailor our product offerings, customer service and overall experience; (d) improve the content, operation, appearance and utility of the Services; (e) conduct surveys, research and evaluations; (f) troubleshoot and resolve disputes and customer-service inquiries; (g) gather demographic data; and (h) perform other administrative tasks.
b. Cookies. Cookies are small bits of data, usually stored on your device, which allow the Site to recognize you and remember your preferences. The use of cookies allows us to keep track of your information and prevents you from having to re-enter it each time you connect. We may use cookies to:
- compile aggregate data about Site traffic and interactions in order to offer better Site experiences and tools in the future;
- use third-party services that track information on our behalf.
You can choose to have your browser warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or to refuse cookies entirely. Each browser has different settings — see your browser's help menu for details. Disabling cookies may cause some features to stop functioning correctly.
c. Web Beacons. Pages on the Site may contain web beacons (also known as Internet tags, pixel tags or clear GIFs). Web beacons allow third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the device that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of the page, the time the page was viewed, the type of browser used and information in cookies set by the third party. We use log files to store the data collected through web beacons.
d. User Profiles. We may aggregate PII, non-PII, log-file information, web-beacon information and cookie information in order to create a profile of a user of the Site. We may use such profiles to market products or services to you, to monitor activity on the Service, to help maintain our customer database, and to administer email, surveys or other contests.
e. Opt-out. If you no longer wish to receive SMS or email communications from us, you may follow the unsubscribe instructions in any such message or contact us at [email protected]. To opt out of disclosure and be excluded from our mailing list, please email us at the same address. For communications from partners, affiliated companies and trusted vendors, please follow the opt-out instructions in their communications.
f. Legal Compliance / Other Disclosures. We reserve the right to disclose your information in good faith as required by law, in response to legal process (including law-enforcement requests), to any person or entity that may acquire all or part of our business or assets, in connection with a change of control, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, and where needed to prevent fraud or to protect the safety, property or legal rights of our company, our users, our affiliates or any other third party. We may also disclose your information to manage and protect our information-technology infrastructure and security. We may also disclose your information for any other purpose with your consent. We may share your information with service providers performing functions for us, such as email-service providers and database-hosting companies. We may share non-PII at any time for any purpose.
3. Collection of Personal Data
General Provisions
The type of personal data we collect depends on how you interact with us and which Services you use. In many cases you can choose whether or not to provide us with personal data, but if you choose not to, you may not get full functionality from the Site or its additional Services.

The Site contains links to third-party websites that may collect personal data, including through cookies. If you follow such links you will exit the Site and this Policy will no longer apply. You should consult the privacy policies of those websites; we have no control over them and are not responsible for any information submitted to or collected by them.

- Country of residence — to process the appId of applications in the Steam Store in order to apply regional pricing and limitations.
- Permission to access third-party sites — for transmitting non-personalized statistical data about in-game items, to display information about an item, to save the user's items locally in the browser, to compare price characteristics from different sources, and to ensure that additional functions of the Service work correctly.

The personal data listed above is collected only when voluntarily offered and only for purposes clearly identified on the Site or in this Policy.
If you do not provide us with the personal data listed above, or you provide inaccurate, misleading or incomplete data, we may at our sole discretion and without prior notice impose limitations or restrictions on your use of the Site and/or Services, or suspend or terminate your access.

We may collect personal data through a variety of means, including registration on the Site, placing an order or request, subscribing to a newsletter, responding to a survey, filling out a form, using a live chat (if available) and providing feedback on our products or Services. We may combine data collected during your interaction with different sections of the Site with other available information.
Data collected by, or transmitted to, CSVORTEX.COM in the course of accessing, interacting with and operating the Site may include, without limitation: device information (hardware model, operating system and version, browser, other device identifiers); usage information and browsing history; demographic information such as your country and preferred language; metadata about files you upload, where applicable; and information collected by cookies and other tracking technologies. Cookies and web beacons enable us to collect information about device identifiers, IP address, browsers used to access the Site, pages and features viewed, time spent on pages, app performance and links clicked.
Invitations. If another user sends you an invitation through the Site, CSVORTEX.COM may receive certain personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. We will automatically send you an invitation and, if it is unanswered, a one-time follow-up. We store this contact information only to send these invitations and evaluate their success. You may unsubscribe from future invitations using the instructions in those messages. You may also contact us at [email protected] to request that we remove this information from our database.
Opting Out
As part of our commitment to fair information practices, CSVORTEX.COM allows you to opt out of the use of information about your activities on other websites to provide you with interest-based advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, and out of interest-based Google ads using Google's Ads Settings. Even if you opt out, you may still see CSVORTEX.COM advertising — it just will not be customized for you.
Refusing Cookies
We honor "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals where applicable: we do not plant cookies or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place. You can limit the collection of your information by disabling cookies in your browser. You may also be able to require your permission each time a site attempts to set a cookie. However, the Site (and many others) rely on cookies for certain functionality, so disabling cookies may make some services unavailable.
4. Unsubscribe, Opt Out or Revoke
You may revoke consent at any time for any use of PII collected from you under this Privacy Policy. To revoke consent, please email us at [email protected]. We will remove your PII from our internal programs and further communication from us will cease, except for administrative matters.
5. "Do Not Track"
"Do Not Track" is an optional browser setting that allows you to express your preferences regarding tracking by advertisers and other third parties. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals other than as described above in relation to cookies.
6. How to Access or Modify Your Information
We strive to keep all personal information accurate and complete. You are always fully in control of the information we maintain to service you. You can change your personal information at any time, as often as necessary. You can also request that information be deleted. Information may be withheld from deletion if this is required by law, is part of a fraud investigation, or is otherwise as described above in the "Use of Information" section. You may access and modify your personal information by emailing us at [email protected].
7. Storage and Security
We will retain PII, including any user location information, only as long as our business needs require. We will then destroy or render unreadable any such information upon disposal. We take the security of your information seriously and use commercially reasonable security measures to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The Site is scanned regularly for security holes and known vulnerabilities. Although we take precautions to protect your data, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we have agreements and vetting procedures in place for third parties, we are not responsible for the actions of any third party that may receive your information. The security of your personal information also depends on you — please do not communicate sensitive information through unsecured channels. If we have provided you (or you have chosen) a password, access code or similar security feature, you must keep it confidential. If you believe your password or account has been compromised, please contact us at [email protected].
8. COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
The Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Site and do not provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at [email protected].
9. California Online Privacy Protection Act
California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents using our Site to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. To make such a request, please email [email protected].
10. CAN-SPAM Act
We collect email addresses submitted through the Site. If you do not wish your email address or phone number to be used to promote our services or those of third parties, you can opt out by emailing [email protected].
